Heavy war machines in a different use

Apart from the literal use of heavy guns (ballista, catapult, gong and cannon) for the offensive attack, those more dull war machines can be also well used in a different way. If you drive i.e. a cannon a little bit on inimical area, accompanied by a group of bowmen, the AI will send soldiers, who will mainly „care for“ the cannon and so will be easily hit by the bowmen. If your bowmen stand in their own land having 100% combat power, it will be even more effective.

If you place one of those heavy war machines right in front of your tower, the approaching enemies will first „care for“ the gun untill destroyed and so can be easily eliminated.
